H4 with a weak W2 for last year

Getting married in 3 weeks. I've had valid F1 & then H1 visa since last 4 years. But for the first 8 months of the last year I was in the US but on unpaid leave (due to the lack of projects). Though recent paystubs is no problem. My W2 amount for the last year is around $25K. In this context please tell me:

1) Will they accept the H4 application without a W2 for last year? (my W2's for the years before last are pretty good)

2) Are all the documents (including W2) submitted beforehand at TT Services or can she bring them to the interview?

3) If I have to submit it, will my weak W2 for the last year pose any problem in my wife's H4?

4) Can I opt for consular interview rather than a drop-box application (is it my choice)?

5) Can I accompany her in the interview at Delhi.

Submit your latest paystubs.

1) Usually they dont ask for W2s.
2) Most of the docs are required to be brought to the interview.
3) no need to submit W2..submit current company's employement letter and current pay-stubs for the past 2 months or so.
4)Interview is mandatory..not your choice.

Two more questions...

1) Will TT Services not insist on taking all the relevant docs before the interview or will they take just the application?

2) After how many days of submitting the docs with TT services does the consulate call for interview? (if it takes time, can I take an appointment beforehand?)

read on..

1) The visa services fellows will ask you for the most basic docs..fees/application form/photos.
Then they will give you different appintment options..only after they have got your passport and they can get to photopcy the first page.
2) I guess the appointment time varies ..we were lucky to get it in 2 days..it totally depends on the number of people who have applied for a visa at that period of time.
 
I think, It's dropbox service for H4 and interview is possible only if the consulate wants it.
Try without giving w2 and if they ask you, then you have no choice but to provide.

OK, assuming that all papers are put in the drop box beforehand, tell me which option is better...

1) Submitting tax papers of previous years, but not including last year's

2) Not submitting any tax papers (but only last few pay stubs)
