H4 Visa - Visa stamping (Jaxen can you please clarify)

Recently my H1-H1 got approved, Iam sending documents for my family H4 stamping.

Iam hearing that my passort (H1 Holder's ) need to have the latest visa stamping . Is it right ?

My family was in USA once, and my previous company visa stamp on my passport is valid till 2003.

If you are not travelling anywhere you do not need a stamp, since your old visa stamp is still valid. You can send all the papers to your family back there and she should be able to get her stamping done with those papers.
