I am putting together the documents required for my wife's H4 Visa stamping appointment next month at Delhi Counsellate. Along with other documents it is asking for:
Photocopy of the Principal Applicant’s valid visa (if applying separately).
My wife is travelling alone and hence is applying separately-----as I don't have vacation time right now from job, I am still in US working on my job .
My Visa expired this year on Jan04,2007--I have a new I-129 which extends my H1B period till Jan03,2010 and gives me a new I-94 also valid till Jan03,2010. Also at the same time I had got my wife's new I-94 approved till Jan2010 via I-897A(case type I-539).
Can she use these documents in lieu of "Photocopy of the Principal Applicant’s valid visa" as my stamped Visa is already expired.
Appreciate any help
