I am currently on H1B visa process and proposed date for me to travel onsite is 17th Dec 2012.
I am going to get court marriage on 24th Nov but my spouse she does not have a passport now. We have applied for it and she will be getting her passport in January 2013.
So is it okay if i travel to US before apply for H-4 Dependent Visa? Any Issues with that?
And since we are getting court marriage, what are the necessary documents required for getting dependent visa stamped?
Are only court marraige certificate, my employment proof in US, H1b copy of mine sufficent to get visa stamped?
Please advise !!!
