H4 Visa Question : New I-797

Hello,

I have taken H4 visa appointment via TTS for my spouse which is April 4th. When i blocked the appointment in feb, i gave my I797 detials which is expiring On May 15, 2005. But now i got 1 year extension which is valid till May 15 2006 through the same company.

Question is can i send my new I 797 when my wife is attending visa interview ?. The reason i am asking this is Web appointment recipt clearly displays petition details ( like petition number and petition expiry date ).

The I797 information which i gave while taking the appointment will be printed on Visa ?? or
the I797 presented to the visa officer during the interview will be printed on Visa ?

please help me with your suggestions/Inputs....

I think you should make the changes to your appointment details. If you can't make the changes to already booked appointment then you better book it again with the new receipt details mentioning 2006 May.If they use the information you gave them while u booked the appointment then your wife would have to face interview again after may 2005. You know its not fun to give this visa interviews again and again!
