H4 visa interview at Mumbai

Hi,
My wife is due to appear for a H4 visa interview in Mumbai (I have a H1). A couple of questions

1) My wife has an L1 visa currently from the company that she works for in India (based in USA) but has no plans of working after coming to USA.Her L1 visa expires on Feb 22nd this year.She hasnt yet resigned from her job in India and will do so only after she gets the visa.Will there be any problems obtaining H4 visa because she is currently on L1 status and hasnt resigned from her company yet ? Are there any special requisites/documents required for such cases at the consulate?

2)The marriage was a court marriage performed in California,USA.so there was no traditional cremony in India (no sacred threads/chains/rings etc exchanged) but we have pictures of the court marriage .Is this sufficient ?

Hi,
My wife got the visa


1)No special documents were asked.She was asked why she hasnt resigned from the company yet to which she said she plans to do so after she gets the H4 visa.


2)She was asked why she got married in US in court.Reply - because I did not have vacation time for a while and couldnt travel to India.No pictures were asked.
