Hello,
I am in the US, working on H1B. My fiance' is in India, residing in Bangalore and her passport has address of B'lore too. We are getting married on Feb 2 2006 in India. I would need to get H4 visa for my wife. As she is residing in Bangalore, is she allowed to go to ONLY Chennai consulate? Or, can she also go to Delhi embassy?
I am asking this question because, the wait time for appointment at Chennai consulate is more than 88 days whereas its only 2 days in Delhi embassy.
Does it matter where my passport was issued from?
Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
