Me and my wife appeared for stamping on Oct 2012; she received pink slip (221g - Admin processing) while mine was approved immediately. She got her VISA approved after a month (dec 2012). The VISA expiry date printed on her passport is Nov 2014 and PED (Petition expiry date) is Jul 2015. Expiry date on mine is as per the petition i.e. till Jul 15.
I'm not sure if people ever had different VISA expiry dates for dependent and primary. And also, though its early to ask, what about VISA extension? do I have to do for my wife first and then for me or together before her expires?
Veterans, please help me understand.
