H4 visa expiring in 3 days urgent

we forgot to do H4 extension along with H1 extension of my husband .My husbad got his extensin for a year but my I-94 and visa are expiring in 3 days.After consulting with local lawyer have sent the I-539 application and it has been delievered to USCIS two days before my visa expiration. What r my chances?
what should I do now?
 
I think as long as you some kind of proof (Fedex receipt) that you have applied for extension before the actual expiry of the visa, you should be alright.

I hope that you have applied the same as PP.
