H4 Visa and Court Marriage

Does anyone know the exact or approximate procedure of getting married in a marriage court in India? And how well does that help in getting H4 visa for the spouse.

Any help about what kind of documents are required or are good to have (photographs etc) would be great.

You have to go the nearest Marriage Registrars office and fill a form. Then wait for a month. Then get an appointment and get married. You will need 3 witnesses.

Getting court marriage will not harm your chance of having a H4.
