H4 Visa and Chennai Consul.

Hi guys,
I have been reading the forums and it has been of great help in getting a h-4 visa for my wife.Inspite of my 2003 w-2 amt being a little less than specified on the labor.prev w-2 were ok.they didn't ask any quest in regard to w-2.also had submitted only 2 recent paystubs.
This were the questions asked at consul.
1) How long h-1B applicant was in usa.
2) what the name of the company?
3) where do i stay in u.s?
4)how long did my wife knew me b4 marriage?
5)how did she knew me b4 marriage - arranged marr?
saw the photos and asked to pay the fees.
over all my pers opinion, is if you have all the docs and everything else is ok. chennai consul is no problem.
Please let me know if i could of any help to any of you guys.

New H4 Stamping at Chennai for spouse and Kid

I moved to US on H1 in Oct04 and started working as soon as I received my SSN in the beginning of Nov .my wife & son have H4 interview in Dec04 at chennai by that time I will have only one paystub for the month of Nov04,My question is ! is it necessary to have 3 or more pay stubs before sponsoring H4.,AND is it necessary to have very big company to sponsor H4.I am currently earning as per the figures mentioned in LC.I do not want to take any chance to sponsor my family for h4.People are saying lot of questions and queries for H4s at Chennai.,How far it is true I don't know.Could you guys give some feed back,it would be of great help.

Min no of pay stubs and bank balance reqd for H-4

Hi,

I am a new user to this forum. My question is also similar to that of brainguy28.

I have started working from Nov '05 and I want to bring my wife here on H-4 as soon as possible, from Chennai consulate. As I joined just last month, I do not have many pay stubs. Here are my questions ...

a) How many min no. of pay stubs are required?

b) Is there any minimum balance to be shown in the bank account?

I browsed few posts, but could not get correct response.
I would really appreciate if any one could respond to this ...
