my wife appeared for visa last month and got 221g blue form for tax forms.... cosulate wants tax transcripts directly from IRS before make any decision.... I talked with IRS and convinced them to send to Dept of State..... and now crossed fingers.....
Anyone in same boat...please offer some advice other than wait patiently (ofcourse, thats the only thing we can do with these consulates/DHS).......
Also for those appearing at chennai for h1 revalidation or h4.... if you have time get Tax transcripts from IRS to show to them.... you never know.... ( I do have full set of H&R Block tax documents BUT consulate wanted IRS transcripts)....
