My son (H4 since Aug 1999) is turning 21 on July and my Lab cert is (or was) stuck in the Chicago Regional Office sin oct 2002... IT"S SOMEWHERE (may be Dallas now) but not approved yet.
According to what the lawyer said my son will be on his own after july (loosing his scholarship, requiring a different visa [f-1 may be.. and probably then considered as INTERNATIONAL student with the fee increase] etc etc).
Is there any way to apply for a CONSIDERATION ( MERCY, whatever!) IN THIS CASE? (since the same goverment is recognizing its fault by creating backlog offices) ... any way he can stay dependent till we get the A-Number??
Anyone know about cases like this??
