While being in the US, how easy is it to convert from H4 to M1 and vice-versa, Currently, I hold H4 visa. I just enrolled into a vocational program. I cam to know while attending an orientation that M1 students get 2 months of OPT at the end of the program. I would like to take OPT gain some practical experience, but I need to convert to M1 for that. Is it advisable to convert to M1. Also, once duration of M1 + OPT is over, I would like to convert back to H4. Is it difficult to do so while being in the US. Are there any caveats I need to worry about.
