H4 to H1

Hi,

I got laid off almost an year and half ago and have been looking for a job ever since. I was on H1 when I got laid off. Immediately after I got laid off, my wife sponsored me for H4 to maintain my status. My green card was in process for more than a year too. Although it the company stopped processing it after I got laid off.

My question is, if I find a new job, will I be able to regain the lost one and half year of H1? My H1 6 year limit should have expiring soon, if I was on H1.

Also, since my green card was in process for more than a year, am I eligible for 7th year extension?

If u have been on H1 + H4 for 6 yrs, u have reached ur limit.
