H4 to H1

Hi..

This is a Question regarding the H4 to H1 visa transfer. My understanding is that This situation is as good as a fresh H1. Now that I have applied for my H1 and got my LIN. When can i start working in US. I heard from some one that you can start working in 2 weeks after you receive your LIN. Is that True??

Please Do clarify on this. I would Appriciate your response in this Regard.

SInce yours is a new H1, you can work only AFTER receiving your H1 approval.
