Hi All,
I am getting married in July 2007.My fiancee is working in India.
I was talking to my company regarding her H1 Visa.
My company suggested the following process and they say that they already did it for one of the employee.I want to make sure whether it is ok.
Firstly, Company planning to apply her H1 when quota starts in April 2007.
Then after my marriage in July, it is asking her to go for H4 Visa stamping.
Once she is in US in August 2007, then submit a special form(form no -- no idea for me) saying that "She is in US now and requesting for I-94 and transfer of Status.
She will receive I-94 and can start working from October 2007.
Does this process looks ok or any other suggestions will be helpful for me?
