h4 to h1

hi,
if anyone was in h4 and switched to h1, can u tell me whether u got 6yrs h1 or the period of stay in h4 was deducted from 6yrs.[say 3 yrs in h4 means did u get 3yrs of h1 or 6yrs?]

H4 period is counted toward total H duration

any period on H4 IS counted towards 6 years.
