Hello All

I was on H4 till 2005, I got my H1 approved in Dec 2005, We applied to Canadian Immg and got our PP stamped, We are planning to land next month.
Q1: As a Canadian Immigrants can we go for stamping in canada to re-enter usa? I mean what are the chances for the Canadian Immigrants? or it does not matter who you are for the american consulate guys?

My husband have a B1 visa stamped (expired) and have a valid I797 and a valid I94, I have H4 visa stamped (expired) and have a valid I797 and valid I94.
Q2: Any issues if going for stamping with B1 visa and H4 visa, like they may say go back to your home country..INDIA.. such things.

If so,
Q3: what should we do? can we say that we are canadain Immigrants? can we apply again for the visa? (Not able to think, my brain stops working sometimes)

Q4: Do we, me and my husband need to make 2 seperate appointments at nvars or 1 appointment is enough for both of us?

We are also planning to use AVR, instead of going for visa. (Dont know, not decided yet)

Gurus please advice. Thanks in Advance..

-- You are PR of Canada. You should go for stamping at Canada only. Do not take any chnace in India. If you have proper paperwork, you will not have any problem.

-- You are PR of Canada they can not tell you to go to India for stamping. Your home country is Canada now. Go with proper docs and you will good for stamping.

If so,
Q3: what should we do? can we say that we are canadain Immigrants? can we apply again for the visa? (Not able to think, my brain stops working sometimes)

-- Dont worry just book stamping appointment at www.nvars.com.

Q4: Do we, me and my husband need to make 2 seperate appointments at nvars or 1 appointment is enough for both of us?

-- You need only one appointment. Both of you can appear for visa at same time.

We are also planning to use AVR, instead of going for visa. (Dont know, not decided yet)

-- You can use AVR only if your visit to Canada is less than 30 days. You don't need visa to reneter USA.

Best of luck

Thanks msukid for your response

As stated in the earlier post, me and my husband have h1's, I have read lot of posts in this forum but I am still not sure that we need 2 appointments or just 1 because we both are on h1's.

Any more inputs on this appointment question.. Appreciate your answers.

Thanks
