H4 to H1 for 10/1/2007, still pending, need to file I485

I didnt expected that dates to apply I485 move this fast. This year I have applied H1B for my spouse and its in the process and pending state. When it gets approved, it will be valid from Oct 1st, 2007. Now the visa dates are current. She is now eligible to get an EAD, which was the objective so that she can work.

  1. Considering this situation, what should I do with her H1B?
  2. Will her EAD becomes void after she gets the H1?

Any comments or suggestions would be helpful

similar situation. My wife's H1 was applied on Jun 7 via premium processing. Am ready to file 485. We are waiting on her H1 receipt notice or approval notice before we file 485.
