H4 to H1 conversion

Hello All,

I am currently on H4 visa and a company has applied for my H1 visa. I am planning to continue on the H4 status and not take the H1B. If my H1 is approved as COS, then does that mean i will no longer be on H4 and i need to reconvert to H4 status. also, is there a way to withdraw my H1 Application?

Hi,

As for as I know, if your H1 gets approved with attached I-94 then your status will be automatically H1.
