I am currently on H4 visa. Am now applying for a H1B visa (which if approved starts from Oct 1, 2005).
I now plan to make a visit to India from June to August. Can I leave US while my H1B application is in process? I will re-enter US in august on my H4 visa.
Is this a right thing to do? Does this affect my status or application?
