H4 to F1

I am currently pursuing an MBA on my H4 status. My husband's company has filed for GC and it has just gone through the 2nd step. Would it be a conflict of interest if I tried to change my status to F1? I would like to switch to F1 so I can get some work experience while I am in school and then with OPT. However, I do not want to jeopardize the GC process. If anybody has been in this situation, could you please give me some feedback? Thank you.

Once your husband gets GC, he can adjust the status for you to obtain GC. But if you take another route of obtaining F-1 later to OPT and expecting the employer to petition for GC, is long process. Once the GC is obtained you don't have to change your status, its will be much easier for you.
