My wife is on H4 now. She got an assistantship in the University and we need to to convert her status to F1 before mid of january 2003. I am not in a position to apply for the adjustment of status because it may take lot of time and I need to make her status change by mid january.
1. Is there any one who has gone to either Mexico or Canada regarding this. If yes, I would appreciate if you could share your experiences and teh procedures
2. Is ist safe to go out of teh country now?? What are the implications.
3. Is going to Canada better or Mexico a better option?
I really appreciate anybody helping me on thsi.
