H4 stamping

Hello,

We are residing in USA since last 3 yrs. My husband is on H1 and my self on H4.When we came to USA we got our passport stamped but presently the stamping is no more valid as our visas have been renewed. I have to travel India to see my father as he is not feeling well. Do u guys think will there be any problem in travelling and also getting my passport stamped in Mumbai. I will be travelling alone with my kids and husband will be back in USA.

If you have proper docs, I don't think there would be any issue. Sometimes, male gets stuck in name check, admin process but female don't. However, you still have to take some risk because no one can gurantee a stamping.

1. You need an appointment at the Mumbai Consulate for revalidation.
2. You need to have your H4 extension + other documents listed in the Mumbai consulate website.
3. I think since your passport doesnt have unexpired visa you can not fly through several European countries. Check with your travel agent.
