My wife is going for h4 stamping in India. I need to clarify few details. My wife got her first h4 stamping in Chennai with my h1 like H1B approval notice plus additional documents. She got her H4 valid until Aug 2005.Let’s say it all happen through company A.
I had joined Company B and they filled a H1 for me and I-539-H4 extension for my wife and I got my H1b Approval notice and 1-539 extension notice with the company B name in it* for my wife valid till oct 2006.
Recently i had joined Company C and they filled a H1 for me and I-539 for my wife.
I got my H1B approval notice, which is valid till oct 2006, but i didn't get my I-539 approval notice for my wife. When i talked to my HR they said since she got the I-539 approval notice already with the company B name on it she won't get a new one but her details will be updated on it.
Here are my questions:
1. Will / Should i a get I-539 approval notice for my wife with the company C name on it?
2.If she goes for H4 stamping in India does she need I-539 separately or my H1B approval notice plus the additional documents is enough?
