Hi friends,
I'm planning to make a visa appointment next month at the US Consulate in Toronto for H4 visa. I would appreciate if anybody can answer the following questions:
1. Is it a good idea to wait and receive tax documents for my wife (W2 for 2004) before I go to interview?
2. Are there any US Consulates in Canada accepting walk-in appointments?
3. I'll be taking my H4 approval letter, my wife's H1 approval, letter from her employer, paystubs, marriage certificate, wedding pictures, notorized copy of my wife's H1 visa stamp in her passport. Besides these documents, I'll take my previous H1 approval letters. I've never had H1 or H4 visa stamped before. Are there any other documents that I should take?
Regards.
P.S. I've just received Canadian PR and will be landing in Toronto late next month (Jan/05).
