H4 stamping for infant

I am currently in the US and planning to have a baby in India and return to the US when the baby is about 2 months old. However, the dates for interviews have a wait time of 4-5 months and one can schedule an interview only with a passport of the applicant. The baby will have a passport a month after birth at the earliest. This delays my return by 5-6 months. Is there anyway to speed up the process? Are there any exception clauses that can be used? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks

ask vfs if there are exceptions allowed.
I do know from Indian passport website that for babies, passport can be obtained on emergency basis (7 days or so) as no police check is reqd.
It is sad that there is no emergency appt for spouses or dependents of h1b visa holders at this time in indian consulates.
