My H1B got expired on Jan 31st. My spouse came on H4 on Nov 2004 and returned back to our country before the expiration date. I have got my H1B extension approval now. Below are my questions.
1. Is it mandatory to apply for H4 extension along with my H1b?
2. We didnt apply for H4 extension along with my H1B extension. Will it create any problem for my spouse to get the H4 stamping again from our home country?
3. The list of required documents says, "copy of valid visa of the principal applicant". Is it really required? If its required, i will have to travel to my country to get the visa?
Please clarify by questions.
