My waiver has been approved by USCIS and I am applying for H1 visa. I will start my job on july1. My wife went to pakistan and they refused to give her J2 visa as i am graduating in june. Once i start the job can she apply for H4 with out me being there. She was on J2 visa in US for 5 years and my daughter is with her who is a US citizen.

If she is unable to apply on her own is ther any options for me to get the visa stamp from canada/mexico????

make sure u apply 529 change of her status from j2 to H4 once approved she can take 767 approval notice to consulate and get H4 stamped.

Hi go to pakistan and bring your wife I had same proplem 2 years ago in Egypt they refused to bring my wife back unless I show up they need you they will give you the visa just give yourself 4 weeks off just in case you need security check canada and mexico mostly you will be refused nothing worth your family.
