H4 Overstay, Going For Stamping

Two years back my wife overstayed with her H4 visa for four months. When we came to know that we immediately applied for H4 and extension of status and she got the approval for both.

Then after that when I got my 7th year approval she also got her approval for the same period and now also she got the approval with me for 3 more years.

Since we need to go for stamping, my question is, in DS-156 there is a section which asks about overstayed in U.S. Whether I need to say yes or no.

What I heard was if you say yes there is not at all a chance to get her H4 stamping approval.

But in their site itself they are saying, if she has the I-1797 approval and extension of status approved then there won’t be any problem for her approval. Please see the link below

4. Please advice whether I have to choose Yes or No in DS-156 for her.
5. Since we have planned to for stamping as a family, is there any possibility that I may have some problem because of her overstay?
6. Is it advisable for me to go separately for stamping and have her and my son to go for some other day?

I would really appreciate your help in this regard

Please advice me.
