Is there a requirement that for H4 to be issued to the spouse the H1 VISA stamp for the husband should be valid and current or is the Original Notice of action of extended H1 sufficient to prove valid status.
My H1 stamped on my passport is expiring June 26 , I have applied for H1 extension under premium processing and expecting approval.
My wife is planning to go for H4 once I send her new extension notice.
The employer is the same.
Will there be any issues ? or have anyone had experience with similar case for H4 stamping in Mumbai ? Please reply.
