My H-1 and wife H-4 Visa and I-94 xpired Nov30, 2001. Have EAC receipt from Vermont center on Nov 13, 2001. Can my wife travel to india now and come back after i send her H-4 I-797 approval? Does it require that I have my approval and passport stamped with H-1 extension when she goes for H-4 stamping in Madras?
