My wife was on h4 last year and converted to h1 visa in february this year. She is working with the client (Pwc) since then and is currently on project (as a BA). She has MBA and Bcom degrees from India. She also holds a CFA charter, which she received in US.
We are planning to go to Mexico or Canada for her visa stamping. If anyone has any experience with that, can you pls advise on pros and cons of the same?
Education credential (221g) seems to be biggest concern to me. We have got education evaluation done already.
Another related question:
If US consulate refuses to give her H1b visa (its her first time h1 visa stamping), what's the way to travel from mexico to India? Do we have to take US transit visa? are there any direct flights from mexico itself? I hope no one had a problem like this, but if someone knows abt it, please let me know.
