I came to US on H4 visa in May 2007. I have applied for my H1 visa in April 2007 while I was in India and I got my H1 approved in July 2007. I have applied for change of status (h4-H1) amendment which got approved around April 2008. I have started working since May 2008. Now I'm planning to travel India and get my H1 stamped. Is it better for me to get stamped in India or do I need to go to Mexico/Canada. Anybody please help me !!
