H4 -> H1 Stamping Canada before Oct 1st

Hi,

I have a Masters degree in India. My H1 was approved through a consulting company with start date Oct 1st. I booked an appointment in Canada. Is it true that I cannot get my H1 stamped until 10 days before the start date?

Are there any instances where H1 was stamped even before that? Will there be any difficult in getting my 1st time H1-b visa stamped? please anyone let me know
