H4 & H1 Queries

Hi
I am currently on a H4 visa. I had a H1B visa which is valid till 2006. In my passport the H1 visa has been cancelled but my I-797 is valid till October 2006. Can you please let me know if this status can be used for employment.

You cannot use your H1B visa stamped for one company to another company.
You have to work with the company which you got stamped from.
