I came to US with H4 in 2003 . Applied COS and got H1 approval in 2004 (Didnt leave US in between so didnt get this H1 stamped in my passport). My consultant wasnt able to get me a job and I have changed my status back to H4. Got this new H4 approval this month.
My question is , Do I have to get this new H4 stamped in my passport if I want to travel out of US now?. I already have a valid H4 (old H4) stamped in my passport till 2007 , Husband still works for the same company so new H4 is based on the same H1.
Can I leave US and enter back with my old H4 stamping or Do I have get this new H4 stamped in my passport, for my travel?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
