Please advise me on my situation.
My Wife is on H4 and I am on H1 and valid until Nov 2008,
She has applied for H1B and under process as of today.
Mean while my labor got cleared and I-140 also cleared and now we are applying 485.
It seems to me that my wife may get her H1B and valid from Oct 1st 2007.
She may get EAD some time before or after she gets H1B.
Which is better to use EAD or H1? If she uses H1B what is the effect on 485?
What are the disadvantages of using EAD?
