H4->F1->H4 : Please Help!
I have a H1 Visa stamp expiring Oct 2006. My wife also got the H4 visa stamp expiring Oct 2006. After she got the H4 stamp, she switched to F1. She did the switch in mid-2004. She is currently on F1-OPT which expires Dec 2005. As she never left the country on the F1 visa, she doesn't have the F1 visa stamp, and her H4 stamp was never invalidated. Now,
1. we want to switch her back to the H4 visa.
2. we are planning to visit India in summer 2005.
Is her H4 visa stamp still valid? Even though she is currently in F1-OPT, can she goto India and reenter the US on the H4 visa by showing her H4 stamp in her passport?
