I am on H1b and my wife on H4. My employer applied for h1 extension and it got approved. The lawyer didn't applied anything for h4 extension. Lawyer told me that my h1 copy, employer letter and passport copy is enough to apply for h4 for my wife. Is it correct? My friends told that lawyer needs to send some paper work to ins for h4 extension. Please let me know.
