H4 documents and appointment

I'm on H1-B visa and am getting married on Dec 13th. My fiancee is planning to attend the visa interview at the Chennai consulate on the 14th. I have a few questions regarding this
1.What are the documents required for my wife's H4 visa interview?
2. Does anyone have experience with getting the marriage certificate on the same day of the marriage?
3. How critical is having my name added to my wife's passport for the visa interview?
4. I already have my visa revaliated, will I be allowed to go inside the consulate along with my wife?
5. While scheduling an appointment for the interview is there a choice to prefer the time of the day?
I would truly appreciate it if someone can help me with this

The only thing I can tell you is that adding name of spouse in the passport is definitely NOT REQUIRED.
 
sani,if you browse through the other threads in this forum,u will find your answers - its been discussed before - but anyways,i think 14th date is a bit early - try 15th to be on the safer side..there are different means to get mrg certificate, and even delhi embassy requires name to be attested on spouse's passport
