Hello All:

I came to US for my Master's Degree on F1. After finishing my Masters degree I got job in Aug 2003. I was on OPT(optional Practical Training) and i started working. In Feb 2004 i got my H1B1 approved.

Then i left that job and accepted a new job recently in Sep 2004 and i have my H1B1 transfer approval in Jan 2005.

Now i am getting a better job opportunity and want to take the job.

My question is will it affect my H1B1 transfer approval since i am transferring jobs and making changes so often.

Please suggest.

Thanks in Advance

Transfer

It should as long as you have maintained your status, have approval from your current employer and latest paystub. You should be good to go.

All the best.

Hi Amorous,

Currently I am also facing H1B1 transfer issue and wonder how exactly you did that. Would appreciate you give me a call at 510.894.5417 for a consultation, if you don't mind. My attorney told me that I need to go to Canada to apply (it seems to me a new application rather than a transfer), wonder if you manage to do that without leaving US.

Thanks,

George
