H1B vs. AP/EAD

I am currently working on H1b. however, the last visa stamp on my passport is F1, never went outside for H1b stamp. I have a personal I485 application case pending which I don't want to inform my employer at this time.

Based on my pending I485, I could get my AP/EAD anytime. Once I have the approved AP, I should be able to travel with the AP instead of going to third country for H1b visa stamp.

My question is,

1. Does my H1b will be considered automatically invalid once I use AP for re-entering US even if I will be working for the same employer?
2. If yes to the above, do I have to inform my employer about this change of starting to use EAD not H1b?

Thanks for all your help,

I beleive you are wrong.

The correct answer is No and No.

Using an AP to enter, does not invalidate the H1. And he can use AP to reenter and does not need to use EAD to work.

I second that.
I always thought that using EAD invalidates H1 and using AP does not have an impact on H1.

My lawyer said --No. I mean it will not invalid.2. If yes to the above, do I have to inform my employer about this change of starting to use EAD not H1b?
Since you are not invalidating H1b - I believe no need to inform
