H1B visa (out of status)????

Hello all,

Can someone tell me what out of status means?Does Bench without pay make one out of status?????

From what I understand if you are not gainfully employed then you are out of status even if you have a valid H1B. That roughly translates to having current pay stubs. If you do not have current pay stubs, then you cannot indeed prove that you are gainfully employed.
