Hi Guys,

I work here in US on H1B Visa. After coming to US i switched my job and few months later i got my new I-797 from INS. But my passport still has same old visa stamp that displays my previous company's name (Visa is valid till the end of next year). Now my vacation is due and i want to visit my country (Pakistan) for 2 weeks . Considering the current situation, do u think immigration officials would ask me why my Passport Visa carries previous company's name?

Do u think showing new I-797 , letter from new employer and Valid Visa on the passport(regardless what employer name it shows) would be good enough to satisfy them?
Looking forward to listen from you guys. Thanks.

You should have no problem. It's clear that you can travel with your new approval notice and the old visa stamp. Border officials should issue an I-94 for the entire validity period of the approval notice.
