Hi friends,
I am currently on H1B visa but I want to switch to J2 visa so I can get an EAD and work easily in USA. My husband has a HRR so I guess it automatically applies to me also so I am not very keen on being and H1b only for green card purposes.
My question is:
1. Can I really work anywhere on a J2 visa?
2. Is it difficult to switch from H1B visa to J2 visa and obtain EAD.
3. Can I get the J2 stamping done in Canada like any other stamping?
4. If I apply for J2 in US by chnage of status form, do I lose my H1B status when I apply or do I lose it when I get the J2 approval?
Please help and asnwer..any feedback is appreciated.
