H1B visa stamping

I was working with a company in H1B visa. They extended my H1B visa last year and got stamped in sep 2003. The visa is valid till July 2005. This company merged with another company on 1st Jan 2004. The new company applied for my H1B transfer and got the approval notice. Iam planning my vacation to India in Aug 2004. My doubt is whether I have to get visa stamping in India ? Please anyone can clarify me on this stamping confusion.

You could. Or you could just send it for revalidation when you come back after 8/04. It's you who has to decide, on your other factors as to where do you stand on in your PR process, do you anticipate overseas travelling and such ...
