Hi all,
We have booked the appointment for May 7th and request below information. I have already have a H1B visa from big Indian company and I changed to this new company very recently in Nov 2006. So this will bring 4 paystubs before I leave for stamping.
1. I am going along with my wife who has a valid visa. Do we have a waiting lounge in the consulate where she can wait until I am done with stamping?
2. We are very near to NY and planning to go in person for temporary visit visa. Below are the documents we are planning to take along for me and my wife.
a. Original passport and I-94 for both of us
b. I-797 for me
c. TO and FRO air tickets and hotel accomidation for both me and my wife
d. Canada visa appointment letter for me
Any other docs required here for me and my wife???
3. Let me know the checklist of the documents to be taken to Ottawa, Canada.
4. We are planning to book the hotel TRAVELODGE which shows free wireless internet, free breakfast for 100 USD a day as its some festival time. It says 2.5 kms from consulate. If anyone has been here or know about this hotel, let me know your feedback.
