I am on H1B visa which is valid till Nov 2009.I had a valid stamping in my old passport which was lost.Now I have a new one with no stamping on it. I also changed my employer in US and therefore, have a new I-797 for this employer. Can I still get my visa stamped for the new employer in Mexico or Canada or is it a rule to go to home country to get it stamped??
Please let me know about the same.
